1. Sustainability certifications:
Since 2018, we have been certified by Sustainable Meetings Berlin (SMB) in collaboration with Visit Berlin, and we look forward to recertification in 2025. Additionally, we are proud to have received certification according to the German Sustainability Code (DNK) in 2024.
2. Waste separation & recycling:
Our well-thought-out waste separation concept ensures that waste is efficiently sorted and recycled.
3. Sustainable catering criteria:
Together with our caterers, we have developed a set of criteria that ensures realistic and sustainable standards
4. Eco-friendly alternatives:
We use eco-friendly cleaning products, toilet paper, and drying towels, and prefer sustainable soft drinks such as Fritz-Kola.
5. Plastic reduction:
We actively work to minimize plastic usage by opting for reusable materials and eliminating single-use plastics wherever possible.
6. Free tap water:
We provide free tap water to all our guests, reducing the need for bottled water and promoting sustainability.
7. Energy-efficient lighting:
We use LED lighting, and our motion sensors in the restrooms ensure that lights are only on when needed, minimizing energy consumption.
8. Open to suggestions for improvement:
We are always receptive to your feedback to continuously improve our ecological and social sustainability efforts.
9. Monthly team meetings:
We hold regular monthly team meetings to discuss and implement new sustainability initiatives and ensure ongoing commitment to our environmental and social goals.
10. Active participation in the Berlin event network:
We are actively involved in the movement to make the event industry more sustainable and support other venues and operators through mentoring on their sustainability journey. We aim to lead by example.
